The race was a hot one this weekend in Brown County, IN. Not a great race for me. I have been very sick the days before the race and still decieded to race. The start as always goes right up a big road climb for about a mile and then into the trails. My heartrate went through the roof. I recovered and at least finished the race. The course was in amazing shape. Fast and dry. We all had a good time.

Went camping this last weekend and got some good riding in at Brown County State Park. Getting prepared for the race in two weeks. The riding was great on Saturday and a little wet on Sunday but all in all a great weekend.

Today it is going to be in the 70′s. I am going to hit the trails instead of my daily 40 mile commute to work. With a little rain the last couple of day’s I think the trails will be in good condition. I did learn a good lesson on my ride home in torrential rain on Sunday. If every you have a flat in the rain careful using a Co2(compressed air cartridge) to air up your tire. They freeze to your hand and boy does it hurt to remove it. Just FYI.
