The race was a hot one this weekend in Brown County, IN. Not a great race for me. I have been very sick the days before the race and still decieded to race. The start as always goes right up a big road climb for about a mile and then into the trails. My heartrate went through the roof. I recovered and at least finished the race. The course was in amazing shape. Fast and dry. We all had a good time.

Today it is going to be in the 70’s. I am going to hit the trails instead of my daily 40 mile commute to work. With a little rain the last couple of day’s I think the trails will be in good condition. I did learn a good lesson on my ride home in torrential rain on Sunday. If every you have a flat in the rain careful using a Co2(compressed air cartridge) to air up your tire. They freeze to your hand and boy does it hurt to remove it. Just FYI.
